Returns and Exchanges

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can either return it for a full refund* (minus S/H) or exchange it for another product.

*Please note: Personalized Hand Stamped designs (stamped with your own names and dates) can NOT be returned or exchanged since they are custom made just for you.

Our Error - If an item is defective, it must be returned within 30 days of the day the order was placed. We do not give refunds for defective items; we will send you a replacement once we receive the defective item back in its original condition. Defective items are not returnable after 30 days. Please send us an email prior to shipping the defective item back.

Customer's Error - we cannot give any discounts for replacement items if an item is ordered incorrectly. The item will have to be re-ordered through the website.

*	Is your jewelry made of Sterling Silver?
	All our pieces are made of sterling silver or gold-filled materials, as described on each product’s web page

*	How large are the charms, and how do they compare in size to other charms on your site?
	All charms on the site have dimensions listed on their ordering page. You can also see charm comparisons on the Charm Shapes page. No returns will be accepted based on dissatisfaction with charm size so please carefully note the dimensions of the charms on each product's web page.

*	Can you personalize the back of the charms?
	We can stamp on the back of some charms, but not all of them. The stamping process leaves a slight mark on the opposite side of some charms and this is why it does not work with all charms. When stamping on both sides, I usually add a texture to the entire charm to blend the marks.

*	What aren't the letters straight?
	Each letter is individually hand stamped, making it impossible to get the letters perfectly straight. We do our best to get them as straight as possible for you, but you must understand that this is not engraving which is done by a machine. The sightly offset letters add to the charm of a hand stamped piece! Please expect a variance from our pictures as every piece made to order.

*	Are the letters on the charms blackened?
	Yes, the letters on all the charms are blackened then hand-polished. The Gold-filled charms are not blackened unless you choose the option when ordering.

*	Can I add a charm to a necklace if I have another baby?
	Yes! Our charms and spacer beads can be taken on or off any necklace (unless otherwise stated) and you can easily add a charm or other beads to your piece as you want. To order just a charm, select the charms you want and then select “NO CHAIN”.

*	Do I have to order a chain with my charm?
	No – you can just order the charm. Just make sure you indicate NO CHAIN at check out.

*	Can the spacer beads be taken on and off a necklace?
	Yes, but only on the Ball and Snake chains.

*	What different symbols/accents do you have to choose from?

*	What fonts are available?
	Please see the Fonts page for the available fonts. Unless stated in the product description, the font you see in each product photo is the font that is used on that piece.

*	What if my name(s) don't fit on the charm I want?

*	Can I order over the phone or via email?
	Yes, you can place your order over the phone or you can send us an email with your order details. If you are concerned with the security of our site, please see the next question.

*	Is your site secure?
	Yes, Embracelets Designs uses an SSL digital certificate that authenticates the identity of a Web site and encrypts information that is sent to the server using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. SSL certificates provide secure online transactions with up to 256-bit encryption. An SSL certificate on a Web site ensures that sensitive data is secure.

*	What is your privacy policy?
	Embracelets Designs does not share, sell or trade any customer information with any 3^rd party.

How long will it take to ship my order?

Regular orders ship from our studio two weeks after receipt. Orders can be rushed for a rush fee of $20. The rush fee puts your order at the front of our queue and guarantees your order will ship from our studio two days after the order is received (excluding Sundays and holidays). You can also opt for Priority Mail or Express shipping as well. We cannot guarantee delivery for regular orders by an exact date, but we do guarantee when the product is shipped from our studio.

	Yes, please select International Shipping at checkout.

*	How is my order packaged?
	Each order is shipped in a brown organza gift bag with a polishing pad included in the bag.

How do I care for and keep my jewelry clean?

Sterling silver jewelry naturally tarnishes when exposed to air and other elements. There are other factors that can cause tarnish as well: some skin types, lotions, exposure to other tarnished jewelry, improper storage, etc. How your jewelry is stored can make a difference in how quickly your jewelry tarnishes. When not being worn, the jewelry should be stored in a closed jewelry box or better yet, a plastic bag. It should not be touching other jewelry, especially if the other jewelry is tarnished, and should never be left out on a dresser or table.

The best solution for tarnish is prevention. Every order comes with a polishing pad to keep your jewelry shiny and tarnish-free. To prevent tarnish build-up, you should periodically polish your charm with this included polishing pad. The pad can also be used to remove any tarnish that has already started to occur on your charms. The blackened letters will not be affected by rubbing with the polishing pad.
